- Expanded sales force in Asia and South America, emerging markets for construction fasteners
In March, KPF received orders for major construction projects in new markets in Indonesia and South America.
KPF has agreed to supply USD 1.5 million worth of construction fasteners each to the construction of a 2,000MW coal power plant in Batang, Central Java, Indonesia, and the construction of the Santiago Airport in Chile.
As of 2016, the fastener market for construction in Asia and South America is about KRW 5 trillion. This market is gradually expanding with the accelerating industrialization of the countries in these regions.
Further to the existing North American and European markets, KPF will pioneer the Asian and South American construction markets, where investments are exploding in infrastructure, such as airports, steel bridges, railways, and ports.
